Peanut Butter and Jelly Cream of Wheat® Recipe

Ingredients

FOR THE CREAM OF WHEAT CEREAL
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup Original 2½ Minute
  • 2 heaping tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
FOR THE ROASTED GRAPES
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 cup black seedless grapes
  • 2 tbsp Concord grape jelly

Directions

FOR THE CREAM OF WHEAT CEREAL
  1. Combine the milk, 1 ½ cups water and pinch of salt in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Slowly whisk in uncooked cereal, stirring constantly, then lower the heat and simmer. Whisk in peanut butter. Stir occasionally until smooth and thickened—about 5 minutes.
  3. Top your cereal with the roasted grapes and any juices from the baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle on some roasted nuts.
FOR THE ROASTED GRAPES
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Lightly spray an 8-inch baking dish with nonstick spray, add the grapes and ¼ cup water, and cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  3. Cook grapes for 25 minutes taking time to stir once.
  4. Remove the foil, stir in the jelly, and continue roasting until slightly caramelized, about 10 to 15 minutes longer.
