Cocoa Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 eggs
- 3 pkts. Cream of Wheat® Instant Cocoa
- Powdered sugar for dusting, optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line the bottom of an 8×8-inch cake pan with parchment paper.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter.
- Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until melted and smooth.
- To that bowl, add the sugar and vanilla and whisk until well blended.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, and whisk until blended.
- Stir in the Cream of Wheat® until completely moistened.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 23-25 minutes or until set.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Run a knife around the edges of the pan then invert the brownies onto a platter and remove the parchment paper.
- Dust with powdered sugar, if desire, and cut into 9 brownies.
